Kindergruppe

Welcome:

Our goal is to provide a fun and exciting cultural experience to children while teaching them how to dance and the Schwabian Heritage.

The Kindergruppe is for ages 3 to 9.

Practise:

Every Thursday at 6:30pm

2010-2011 Start Date:  Thursday, August 26, 2010 @ 6:30pm

Uniform Swap Night:  Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 6pm

Performances/Events:
The Kindergruppe performs during Oktoberfest and many events throughout the year at the Schwaben Club and surrounding area.  This past year we were also fortunate enough to have performances at Sunnyside Nursing Home, Kinderfest in Mississauga and Tag der Donauschwaben in Philadelphia. We also have many social events throughout the year such as our annual Club Picnic, Seasonal Potlucks, and our Summer Social BBQ (3rd Thursday in July).

The children have developed friendships to last a lifetime!

Dance Instructors:

Our instructors are volunteers and members of the Schwaben Dancers with many years of German Folk dancing experience.  Their goal is to teach German Folk dancing and traditions in a safe and memorable environment.  The instructors incorporate fun and unique ideas to help maintain the children’s focus and interest for the entire dance year.

If you are interested in joining or wanting to reserve our dance group for a performance, please contact Lisa Schaadt via email at  rl@netflash.net .
