The Frauengruppe is the Ladies Auxiliary of the Schwaben Club. It began in 1935 as a way for women to participate in the Club, since at that time they could not become members. While women are now certainly invited to become members, many women remain a part of the Frauengruppe as well.
The Frauengruppe meets on the first Wednesday of every month (during the regular Club meeting) for news, announcements and a social. Birthdays or deaths of members are announced, and usually a game of Bingo rounds out the evening.

Throughout the year, the Frauengruppe is involved in events such as the Bazaar, Kirchweih and of course the Grundungsfest Frauengruppe. Members of the Frauengruppe often help in the kitchen and are members of the choir and Trachtengruppe (senior dance group) when these organizations exist.
