Schwaben Family Bowlers is a five-pin bowling league that competes at Towne Bowl, near the Schwaben Club. The league runs every other week on Sunday nights during the school year. The cost is less than $10 per evening, with shoe rental extra.
The league is open to Club members and their friends and family. Bowlers range in age from teenagers to senior citizens and all ability levels are welcome. About six teams are formed from interested bowlers and these teams compete against each other during the regular season and again in the playoffs. As well, individuals and teams often compete in larger competitions involving other German club sponsored teams from Ontario.
Schwaben Family Bowlers also offers social events with a Christmas and year-end dinner and dance held at the Club. If you are interested in joining the Schwaben Family bowlers, contact John Hild through the Club.
